having multiple buttons that the user can click in game to change behaviours

stand ground- units engage but dont move
hold fire- units dont fire
stop/cancel- units stop whatever they are doing can also cancel anything being built etc

more advanced possibilities
patrol- users set a route and the unit/units follow it repetdly (some games have a waypoint system while others have an area defined by setting a circle)
keep distance- total war likes to have an option where ranged units will automatically move to keep their distance
auto- units that have auto functions such as gathering can be toggled on or off
repeat- a building that makes units can repeat your que so the unit production buildings dont need to be ‘babysat’
